SIGLER-THOMAS | Dr. Martin T. Sigler and Mr. Timothy T. Thomas are to be married April 14, 2012, at the Carlyle Hotel in New York City. Martin, 38, is a radiologist in private practice in Dallas. He graduated cum laude from Georgetown University and received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is the son of Mr. Glenn Sigler and Mrs. Wanda Sigler of Mobile, Ala. Tim, 32, is an attorney in private practice in Dallas. He graduated from Southern Methodist University and received his law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. He is the son of Linda S. Thomas of Katy. Martin’s best man is his twin brother, Andy Sigler. Tim’s best man is his friend, Jay Przyborski. Martin and Tim met in November 2008. Exactly one year later Martin surprised Tim and asked him to marry him at a romantic evening at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dallas. They chose New York City for their wedding after New York State passed marriage equality. They are active in the marriage equality movement with the Human Rights Campaign in Dallas.
