Bobby Jack Singleton has been sentenced to 75 years in prison for his role in the July 2008 robbery of Jimmy Lee Dean. The sentence means Singleton will serve a minimum of 37 1/2 years before he is eligible for parole. Singleton is 30 years old. I’ll have a full report on Singleton’s trial in Friday’s Voice.

wowwww
i was half-afraid there’d be a cop-out here and he’d get like 25 or 30! but this is exactly what he deserved. good job dallas!
Thanks John for all of your work on covering this case and for the updates.
Thanks to everyone who went to the trial to support Jimmy Dean.
I’m really happy about the outcome! BJS is young so I really hope he gets what he deserves and has plenty of new “friends” in prison.
Great coverage on this case.
Thanks!
