Kathy Hewitt and Steve Habgood, of the Hewitt & Habgood Realty Group, recently announced a matching grant fundraising campaign to establish the new Kessler School Scholarship Fund in honor of the school’s 10th anniversary. The campaign, in association with broker Dave Perry-Miller & Associates, has a goal of raising a minimum of $10,000 for the scholarship fund. Hewitt & Habgood and Dave Perry Miller & Associates will match, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000 for each dollar donated to the scholarship fund in the coming year. The scholarship fund will offer grants to help offset the cost of tuition for those families not in a position to afford the entire tuition. The Kessler School (preschool through fifth grade) offers a well-rounded curriculum focusing on a child-centered philosophy tailored to each child’s needs, using a variety of teaching styles and techniques, supported by a growing emphasis in the fine arts. It also offers daily physical education activities, a fostering of spiritual awareness and growth in a nurturing, loving environment. The Kessler School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools, and also offers before and after school care, after school enrichment programs and summer camp.
