Sen. Roy Ashburn
Sen. Roy Ashburn

Sen. Roy Ashburn, the homophobic gay state senator from California, was sentenced today for his drunk driving arrest.
He pleaded no contest and was sentenced to two days in jail and three years probation. He will pay court costs and fines of about $2,000 and attend a mandatory first offender DUI program. His driver’s license will be suspended for 30 days.
After his drunk driving arrest, Ashburn admitted to being gay. He has a consistent anti-LGBT voting record. He is not running for reelection.сайтконтекстная реклама яндекс украина

  1. Shameful excuse for a human being.
    Zero personal responsibility
    Zero empathy
    Zero compassion
    Zero intelligence
    BIG FAT ZERO.
Be a gay hero, not a gay zero.

  2. Come on, David. This story deserves more from you than a short post. I want to read how this story fits into the historic and big picture of anti-gay behavior, homophobia and the sexual orientation closet.
