Yesterday the Washington Post reported that a new gay character is moving into Archie Comics-verse’s Riverdale. Kevin makes his debut in September and we already know that poor Veronica has a major crush on him. Apparenlty, it’s after he downs a whole lotta meat. CNN says:
The story begins when Kevin comes to Riverdale and promptly beats Jughead in a burger-eating contest. This gets the attention of Veronica who realizes that she is falling for Kevin.
This dashes my hope that Moose would be the first gay character. But perhaps he’ll be the second!
