State Reps. Warren Chisum and Ken Paxton both dropped out of the race earlier today. House members are currently making nominating speeches for Rep. Joe Straus, and they’ll be voting shortly. UPDATE: Straus was re-elected by a vote of 132-15 with two members present but not voting.
