Cedar Springs Merchants Association has cancelled its First Thursday Wine Walk that had been scheduled for 6-9 p.m. tonight (Thursday, Jan. 6), due to concerns over weather conditions.

A strong Arctic cold front has moved into the area, with temperatures outside hovering around freezing at 9 a.m., with forecasters predicting a high of no more than 38 degrees for the day. The temperature is expected to drop into the low 20s overnight before climbing back into the high 40s on Friday, Jan. 7.
