“Tilling for Figs” staged reading tonight by Wingspan Theatre

Dallas playwright Janice Rose takes us to the South during World War II in her new play Tilling for Figs. A young woman finds paradise in her grandparents’ home but dad disrupts everything when he returns from Army duty to have his life with her again. This staged reading is a production of Wingspan Theatre Company and the Bath House Cultural Center and was created by Rose for a development workshop. So basically, this play is “hot off the press.” as artistic director Susan Sargeant puts it.There will be post show talk backs both nights.
