Keeping the peace
Pro-Equality activists get together tonight at the Main Post Office for a peaceful demonstration to remind the city at large that LGBTs pay the same taxes as everyone else but they just don’t get all of the rights. Sounds wortwhile and if you haven’t filed, well, finish that up and head down to the post office tonight to drop off and then demonstrate. You’re even encouraged to take sings and banners. Not only will you be performing a civic duty, you can also be creative.
DEETS: Main Post Office, 401 DFW Turnpike (I-30 at Sylvan). 6 p.m. Click here for more information.
This was in my inbox just before the protest- it should be noted that they DID show up in droves- we had a small but peaceful group that endured their screaming and hate for over 3 hours.
**Kingdom Baptist Church (https://www.KingdomBaptist.org) will be protesting at a homosexual rally that is scheduled at the Dallas Post Office, today (at I-30 and Sylvan) at 6:00-9:00 pm. The homosexual community is calling for equality. The members and friends of Kingdom Baptist (which includes all races), believe it is wicked and deceitful to try to pretend that sodomy (a disgusting sin) is likened unto race (something a person is born with). There is no true science that establishes that people are born homosexuals – nor would it really matter if such a science could ever be proved (which will not happen). It would no more excuse such behavior than bestiality or adultery would be excused because people claim to have “natural” desires for these sins. We will be preaching what the BIBLE teaches. We love everyone, and desire for everyone to escape God’s judgment, and the effects of harmful sins. And often, we must use tough love to warn people who have grown stubborn and proud, like Sodom. And if these homosexuals will not turn from their dangerous sins, at least others will be warned, and will know that there is a controversy, and that God does NOT approve of these sins, as seen in Romans 1, and other Scriptures.
