After having to go to an abbreviated version televised live in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Black Tie Dinner returned this year to an in-person dinner to celebrate its 40th anniversary. And it was a rousing success, from Shangela’s opening performance to Todrick Hall’s turn on stage to close the show.
