And if SouthBy is over, that means the all-LGBT music fest, GayBiGayGay has come and gone too. Taking place on the last day of SXSW, GBGG is merely a backyard affair filled to the brim with specifically LGBT bands and artists. Think Woodstock, just smaller and gay and just so Austin. So far, not much video footage from GBGG seems to have made it to the Interwebs, but I did find this vid of queercore quartet The Shondes rocking the night away.
The lesbi-punksters are back on the road (not including Dallas– boo!) even before their newest album comes out. My Dear One is set to drop May 4.
