Gather round for some football
We hear there’s some big football game going on today. If you’re not too tuckered out from last night’s events and ran out of groceries over the snow days, don’t worry about finding nibbles to eat during the game. Just head out to any of these watching parties throughout the gayborhood and have a liquid lunch (and dinner even).
DEETS: The Brick, 2525 Wycliff Ave. 2 p.m. Manhunt will be present and will award a $500 sponsorship toward any gay sports team there with the most members; Round-Up Super Bowl Tailgating Party, 3912 Cedar Springs Road. 4 p.m. Games on all the big screens with grilling out on the patio; Sue Ellen’s, 3014 Throckmorton St. Big screen games, free pizza and live music. 3 p.m.; The Texas Theatre, 231 W. Jefferson Blvd. Want a different setting? Try this old theater in Oak Cliff. They will have the “world’s best hot dog vendor” on hand. Now that sounds good. 5 p.m.
