“Yesterday [Tuesday], I enjoyed driving on the highway with semi-trucks going 25 miles per hour, which is a new experience for me because living in Wisconsin, they actually know what to put on the roads so that you can still drive a decent speed. Down here, I guess they put sand on the roads. They might need to revise that a little bit.”
— Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, in The Dallas Morning News
Sand hasn’t been used since the 1960s except in places like Wisconsin. Sand was replaced with a mixture that has evolved over the years to melt ice faster, keep ice from forming better, cause less damage to the road and vehicles and the environment as it melts into the ground and into creeks and lakes. What hasn’t changed is Rodger’s low education retention level and his inability to hide it.
