How has Fort Worth’s LGBT community changed since the Rainbow Lounge raid?

Latisha McDaniel — “The fact Dallas acknowledges that Fort Worth has a thriving LGBT community is a miracle in itself.”

Andi Reis — “The very visible LGBT-friendly group Fairness Fort Worth, which started up as a response to the raid, has a thriving contingent and reaches out to the community pretty often.”

Bob Rasnic — “The incident at Rainbow Lounge was only a matter of time. This would have never happened in Dallas anytime after 1969. It’s embarrassment to the FWPD as well as an embarrassment to the gay folks of Tarrant County.”
