The United Court of the Lone Star Empire, a charitable organization with nearly 40 years serving the Dallas community, held the annual coronation of its court this weekend, and Larry Harrell and Messy Panocha were elevated to Emperor and Empress, respectively, of the XXXVIII Court. More than 300 people attended the event, which took place Sunday.

But that’s not the end of it: On Dec. 9, outgoing Emperor Marshall Styles and Empress Lips LaRue, pictured, will present their charitable donations and the incoming royals will enjoy their investiture — and begin their own year-long campaign to raise funds for LGBT organizations.
