Resource Center Dallas’ Rafael McDonnell sent over the above photo of a Dumpster fire Tuesday behind RCD’s food pantry at 5450 Denton Drive Cut Off. McDonnell said there’s no indication the fire was set intentionally.

“We don’t believe we were targeted,” McDonnell said, adding that there was no damage to the pantry building or its contents.

A spokesman for Dallas-Fire Rescue could not immediately provide additional information about the possible cause of the fire.

McDonnell noted that Thursday will be the last chance for people to drop off food donations at the pantry before it closes for the holiday. The pantry will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.

RCD will host its holiday client luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the center, 2701 Reagan St. The luncheon is open to the public.
