I was asked to be a judge for the first Miss Gay Texas State At Large pageant, held over the weekend at Best Friends Club in Fort Worth, and I just wanted to take a minute here to congratulate, first, the winner, Rusty Winters, and also the pageant owners, Michael (Sable Alexander) Champion and Bill (Linze Serrell) Lindsey.
They had 10 outstanding contestants, and I was very impressed not only with the quality of all 10, but with the efficient and well-organized event itself.
One thing I really appreciated is that Michael and Bill have decided that their pageant system will give back each year to the community, and that their titleholder will be involved in a lot of fundraising events. This first state-level contest in their pageant system raised a total of $2,495 for two beneficiaries, The Food Pantry at AIDS Outreach Center of Tarrant County and the choir at Celebration on the Lake Church in Gun Barrel City. And yes, I know the money went to the beneficiaries, because I saw the pageant owners hand over the cash onstage before the winner was announced.
So again, congratulations to all the contestants, and to Michael and Bill, thanks for asking me to be a part of your event.посмотреть pr сайта
