Oak Lawn is the top trending U.S. Airbnb neighborhood

The top trending Airbnb neighborhood in the U.S. is Oak Lawn, according to a list just released by the company.
The company released its list of the top 16 trending neighborhoods for 2016 on Airbnb.
Only two other neighborhoods in the U.S. made the list — Kaneohe on Oahu, Hawaii and Poncey-Highland in Atlanta.
The top three neighborhoods listed by Airbnb are Chūō-ku in Osaka, Japan; Banglampoo in Bangkok, Thailand and Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Other top neighborhoods include areas of Athens, Mexico City, Budapest, Melbourne and Buenos Aires.
“From jogging through Katy Trail in Oak Lawn in Dallas, Texas, to meandering through the alleyways of Chou-ku in Osaka, Japan or around the Waterfront of Calle Bettis in Traina, Seville, Spain, people are looking for the best routes to undiscovered gems in cities,” the site explains.
