A quick reply to David Scott: As a gay male and veteran of the U.S. Air Force, (oh, by the way, I joined up when the official Air Force application and duty contract both still had questions about homosexuality on them – the questions were just crossed out by a magic marker) after circling the globe a few times in my 6 years of duty, I realized that there are some things that could be improved upon in the U.S. However, we have things a whole lot better than most of the rest of the world. I am not suggesting that society should quit striving to improve, but considering the time of year and all……..I give thanks for the family, friends, food, and freedoms I have now.
