I just got an e-mail today from Angela Amos about the big New Year’s Eve bash that Women of Distinction is throwing.
It starts with dinner at Bengal Coast, 3102 Oak Lawn Ave., with seatings at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., with meals ranging in price from $17 to $35. They will also have special entertainment and giveaways. There’s no admission, but reservations are required. Call 214-521-8600.
The dancing starts at 11 p.m., and lasts until 3 a.m., with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight and party favors. Seating at the dance is first come, first served.
