Men Having Babies expo headed to Dallas

Men Having Babies South brings its Surrogacy Seminar and Gay Parenting Expo to Dallas this month.
The event takes place — appropriately enough — on Father’s Day, Sunday June 19, from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at the Wyndham Dallas Suites — Park Central, 7800 Alpha Road.
Men Having Babies is “a comprehensive surrogacy parenting conference, designed to help gay men become biological parents. And organizers say it has already done just that with thousands of men worldwide.
The full-day program will include peer and expert advice, personal stories, information about financial assistance, and opportunities to meet a wide range of providers at the expo, breakout sessions and private consultations. Organizers said that more than 20 providers are already signed on for the Dallas conference.
Local sponsors include Dallas Voice, Resource Center, Rainbow Roundup and Handsome Father.
Registration — $15 in advance and $20 at the door — is already open online, and space is limited.
(The cost includes lunch and a coffee break.)
Organizers urged interested individuals to register in advance, noting that these events often sell out. Advance registration also speeds up the sign-in process on the day of the event, and allows registered participants to receive updates on logistics and the agenda for the event.
