libraryMichael Robinson has announced a meeting to be held at the Oak Lawn Branch library today, Dec. 30, at 6:30 p.m. to plan a January rally.
“We will discuss the motivation, tone and the message we want to convey based on the recent attacks of hate crimes in our community,” Robinson said. “LGBTQA folk are encouraged to attend.”
Robinson said the group is shooting for the second week of January for the rally. Exact day, time and location will be determined.
Among the issues are the attacks on members of the community that have continued throughout the year without any arrests.
