In today’s Dallas Voice, I wrote about my night on the town with three of the popular contestants from “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” The online version contains a photo gallery of pictures I took, but I include this one now which I obviously didn’t take, because I’m in it.
Dallas’ exposure to the Drag Racers hasn’t ended yet, though. On May 27, winner Tyra Sanchez will perform at the Rose Room alongside Dallas contestant Mystique. How much Logo can one city take?

Poor Rainbow Lounge…did all the hard work and effort to get these girls in Fort Worth, just for the voice to snipe away and make it look like a big Dallas event.
Yes, luckily the girls weren’t beaten by police. I’m glad they made it to Dallas safely.
Of course Dallas snatched the queens up!! After they entertained at the Rainbow Lounge, they were gonna end up in Dallas anyway. Where in the world were three popular drag queens gonna go for a big night out in Fort Worth?? Could you imagine them in Sundance Sq. or the Stockyards.?..NO!!! I’ve seen queens getting on the train in downtown Dallas on a sunny weekday afternoon and most people barely blinked any eye. Fort Worth ain’t ready yall, they ain’t ready!!
