Leather Knights holding dinner, show to kick off Christmas donation drive

The Leather Knights of Dallas, working in conjunction with Dallas Eagle, will kick of their annual Christmas drive with a dinner and show at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Dallas Eagle, 2515 Inwood Road.

In years past, the Leather Knights have collected Christmas gifts for children residing at AIDS Services of Dallas. This year, a benefactor has already agreed to purchase gifts for the children at ASD, so Leather Knights will be collecting gifts for the 130 adults living at the residential facility for people with AIDS.

The Sunday event will include photos with Santa, an Angel Tree for those who want to choose a resident for whom to buy gifts and a donation box for those who want to contribute cash or gift cards. Proceeds from the photos with Santa will be used to purchase gift cards.

Donations will be accepted through Dec. 16.
