A while back we told you how Texas is the prison rape capital of the nation, and how LGBT inmates are all too often the victims. So I just wanted to remind folks that today is the last day to sign a petition that will be submitted to Attorney General Eric Holder, who’s charged with implementing new rules aimed at curtailing prison rape. So far the petition has 10,475 signatures, and organizers are hoping to get to 11,000 by midnight. You can sign the petition by going here.

Ms Lisa Stannow does a good job; but now it is up to the people to end this uncivilised atrocity.
When punishment is a crime? Used to be for marijuana; but this is beyond believability; and has to be stopped. NOW. No more rape whilst being detained. Thank you.

Rape is a violation f humanity. Prisoners are serving their time in punishment for their actions. The violation of their personal integrity and self-determination of their own bodies is a miscarriage of justice. It is in no way true to justice. Take action now to end it.
