Earlier this month, Big Milo Records announced its launch as the first LGBT independent label for hip-hop. What’s more, they even have a distribution deal that puts them on the map to get their music out to the masses.The label debuted with The Paradigm Shift by Houston-born rapper Drew Mason.
I’m working on a story about Big Milo and Mason for later but label owner, Camilo Arenivar, told me Mason’s first video has just been released (as in, he just received the DVD for it last Wednesday) and now they are working on it getting some attention. Arenivar says they’ve submitted it to Logo to make their Click List hoping to see it air sometime in October.
