A small crowd gathered on an unseasonably warm Wednesday night at TMC: The Mining Company for a cozy holiday celebration to watch the Cedar Springs Christmas tree lighting.

Instead of a regular Christmas tree, three small wire cone trees will be on display this year surrounded by presents.

DFW Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were in attendance to read a brief holiday bedtime story before lighting the trees.

The Oak Lawn Band performed holiday carols and AIDS Arms’ elves were also on hand with cheer as they visited the bars collecting toys for children affected by HIV/AIDS as part of the Santa Pub Crawl.
