One of the more popular categories in the O Music Awards (that’s what they say anyway) is the Fan Army FTW award. Erstwhile fan “clubs” are now “armies,” and the enthusiastic devotees of Taylor Swift, One Direction and 30 Seconds to Mars (really?) are among the nominees. Of course, you know the Glamberts are in for the win. Adam Lambert fans come together in this video pitch to campaign for votes. From young to old, straight to gay and everything in between, the gay singer’s appeal is far more reaching than I would have ever imagined.
While the O Awards may not hold the merit of the Grammys, they have been consistent in giving nods to musicians’ forays into the digital realm, but with irreverent fun. Awards include Best Artist with a Cameraphone and Hottest Music NILF. And anyone can vote! Just don’t be surprised if some Glamberts try to convert you while they ask for your vote.
Watch the Glamberts hype up their favorite singer and the impact he’s had on their lives after the jump. It’s actually kinda sweet.

Whether Glamberts win or not Adam knows he’s got the best fans in the world who have his back no matter what. We give him strength to keep going no matter what obstacles he has to face everyday of his life. He’s truly a mega superstar in every sense of the word superstar.
Always seem to detect a little snark in your Adam Lambert Stories. Take a listen to him.
Who else has a voice like that? Fans just love him because he’s amazing. Let your guard down and actually admit he’s brilliant.. for ONCE..
Adam is not only a great singer and performer, but a wonderful man as well. I admire him tremendously.
It’s very sweet. Adam did more for LGBT people in five minutes on TV 11/23/09 than any other person in entertainment history. When GLAAD punked out defending him, WE made them listen and after 4 tries they finally got it right. His fans have raised over $1 Million for his charitable causes. The fandom are the mothers, sisters, daughters, brothers, fathers, dog walkers, plumbers, lawyers, doctors and chefs changing hearts and minds daily and raising the forthcoming generations to understand a post gay mentality in a pre gay world. Adam Lambert is a strong, hardworking sweet hippy at heart who’s learned how difficult it is to just want to sing for people. We’ll never let him down. EVER. One time he tweeted “C” by mistake and it TRENDED. THAT”S the power of Glamberts 🙂
Glamberts, are as diverse, as any and all
people in the world. We are male, we are female. We are black, white, brown, an all colors of the rainbow. We are gay, we are straight, we are bi we are gender undecided. We are everything in the world. Every nationality, every religion, or race. We have nothing in common, we have everything in common. The main thing that makes us identify with being the same, is Adam. Adam Mitchell Lambert. He is the one we all have in common. We love his voice, we love his music, and ultimately we love him. We will always be there for him, and have his back in every way. We know he is the greatest singer musician of our time. We will never give up the fight to get him the recognization he so rightly deserves.
Yup…Glambert to the BONE! Don’t mess with the BEST! Who else in pop OR rock is asked to sing with Queen nowadays? WHO ELSE COULD? Whether his Army of Fans win or not, there is NO denying his voice and universal appeal! Raawwrrr! ;D
It doesn’t take a lot of brain-power or imagination to work out why this amazing man has so many fans and such a broad fan-base world-wide despite his treatement by many in the media over the years. “Swarm” has expressed it very well. There is no-one else quite like Adam, not just because he has one of the most amazing voices in history – but because of who he is and what he represents. Oh and “Swarm” – LOL @ the “C” twitter. Love Adam’s occassional twitter fails. I think he stuck the phone in his pocket and it sent out the letter C! ROFL

A question to anyone responsible for writing this and other articles regarding Adam’s fans wanting to ask you to five a listen to his music… and to that regard… have you listened to his music “Trespassing or For Your Entertainment” or seen his DVD of his Glam Nation Tour.? Time to purchase, maybe Trespassing, and take a listen to why his fans are so diverse and support the idea that music has no orientation.. good music is good music and personal choice.. so take a listen and you might just like what you hear and become a Glambert.
You are right Boston about the snark from this website. There is always snark in their Adam stories. Always. Adam is a worldwide star and is a wonderful representative of our community who should be lauded for his accomplishments at every opportunity but some LGBT sites like THIS one just can’t help it with their snarky, bitchy little selves. Sad really.

Wow! Some of these comments are off the wall. Do any of you know what snark is? Jason, if you’re in fact a member of our community, you should have a pretty good idea of what snark is! So all of you “snark police,” point it out. How about somes quotes from the article that you consider snark and why?
Rich- there is a faction of Adam’s fans, the Glambatz, They apparently found their way here. Sorry you had to see the worst and thanks for a nice article.
ah I see your sad Failure of Imagination. Note to self: don’t check here for Adam news again.
Why yes Rod…I DO know what snark is, and I’m quite well versed in it. In direct relation the Lambert, the Sentence ” the gay singer’s appeal is far more reaching than I would have ever imagined” while maybe not intended to be, can be interpretted as being snarky – I took it that way at first, then I re-read the article, and took that line to be a compliment, as in the writer is amazed at how far his talent has really reached. There are two other moments of non Lambert related “snark” in the first paragraph alone, but It’s all about interpretation, as it is with anything. So dont judge others on how they interpret things.
