I said earlier I have been looking online for LGBT-specific news coming out of the Republican National Convention. I found this online:
Joseph Turula, 42-year-old gay lawyer from Hudson, N.J. is a delegate to the RNC. He told The Jersey Journal on Monday, Sept. 1 that he believes presumptive Republican nominee John McCain is being “mis-portrayed by the other side,” and that McCain has always been “a maverick” and that the candidate won’t be “Bush III as he is being portrayed.”
The Jersey Journal promised a lengthier article in today’s issue, but I didn’t see it online. Check out the brief bit from yesterday here.
