I’ll have a full update on the DART transgender saga in an upcoming issue of the Voice, but for now I wanted to note that local trans activist Kelli Busey is encouraging people to speak during public comments at the agency’s board meeting next Tuesday. (For more info, see the Facebook page). Four people spoke at the DART meeting last week. “We need them to understand that we’re not just going to go away,” Busey said.
