Dallas couple get a shot and their foodies dreams on reality TV tonight

A few years ago, we profiled Lara Whittington and Jennifer Bonner, a couple in life and burgers, who opened Full Circle Tavern in The Cedars. (Oh, and we also really liked the food.) From those beginnings the couple have grown their aspirations, wanting to develop a slider concept… only they need some investors to make the dream come true.
In comes Restaurant Startup, a reality TV show that airs Wednesdays on CNBC. Co-hosted by Fort Worth celebrichef Tim Love, it combines Top Chef with Shark Tank as teams pitch their concepts, hoping to get funded. And tonight, it’s Whittington and Bonner’s turn. They go head-to-head with another Texas team (from Houston).
Will the local lesbians win and achieve money for their fast-casual shop (called Full Circle Sliders)? The only way for you to find out is to watch the show tonight at 9 p.m. on CNBC.
