If you can sneak a listen or a look during work today, the “Think” talk show on KERA 90.1 FM during the 1 p.m. hour, M.V. Lee Badgett, an economist with the University of Massachusetts and Institute for Gay and Lesbian Strategic Studies, discusses her book “When Gay Poeple Get Married: What Happens When Societies Legalize Same-Sex Marriage.”
Then on “Oprah” at 4 p.m. on Ch. 8, she replays her “most memorable guests” … which interestingly enough, seem to have a lot to do with the gay community. One of the guests is Ted Haggard, the self-righteous anti-gay evangelist who was outed for his clandestine relationship with another man; and a married male college professor who transitioned to a female.
