Jesus Montelongo, a local bisexual Latino teenager whom I wrote about recently in Dallas Voice, will appear tonight on “Cristina,” the nation’s No. 1 Spanish-language talk show, during an episode called “Ninos Victimas de Homofobia” — or “Child Victims of Homophobia.” Montelongo, an ambassador for Youth First Texas and a member of LULAC 4871—The Dallas Rainbow Council, traveled to Miami recently to film the show. You can watch a preview of the episode (in Spanish) by going here. “Cristina” airs at 9 p.m. on Univision, or Dallas Channel 23.
The correct title of the show would be “Niños Victimas de Homofobia” (Just sayin’).
je,
I can’t figure out how to put the thingy on the “N” in the program we use for this blog, but I did correct the spelling of “victimas.” Thanks for letting us know. Can you tell I didn’t take Spanish in high school?
The “thingy” is called a tilde. To type an ñ hold down the alt key and type 0241 and release the alt key. Use the numeric keypad and be sure Num Lock is turned ON. For Ñ hold down the alt key and type 0209 and release the alt key.
