Badly in need of a haircut, I appeared on WFAA’s Inside Texas Politics on Sunday to discuss a proposed Dallas City Council resolution in support of marriage equality and statewide LGBT employment protections. In my 60-second commentary, I chose not to use the name of the council member who authored the resolution, so as to avoid the issue being politicized, since he’s in a contested race against another incumbent. But host Jim Douglas kind of blew my cover in his intro when he mentioned the council member’s name (even though he left off a letter). Oh well, it is what it is, as they say.
