Gov. Rick Perry’s wife, Anita, delivered an emotional speech today in South Carolina in which she repeatedly states her belief that her husband was called by God to run for president. Anita Perry also says Gov. Perry is being persecuted by the media and even by fellow Republicans because of his faith. And she suggests that his recent drop in the polls is a test from God so that he’ll remember who put him in the White House. Wow.
Anita dear, if there is a God, then lets hope he waves his magic wand and convinces your dumbass husband to come back to Texas and then resign, joining the ranks of other loser Rethuglican governors (i.e. Palin) who quit mid-term when it got too rough.
While she would be fun to watch as First Lady, it would be like going from class to trash. I’m not sure there will ever be a First Lady as elegant at Michelle.
Seriously? Ugh. Rick Perry’s wife says he was called by GOD to be the President. Seriously. She talks about seeing a burning bush. Granted it’s Texas, which was on fire for most of the year. But still.
God’s really good at giving the same thing to many people. He gave what is Israel to the Christians, Jews and Muslims. He told Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann to run for President. You think God is just messing with them?
And why is it that we never hear people say that God called them to be a waiter or an accountant? No instead he seems to focus on religious leaders, celebrities, and politicians.
I did not tell you to run for President. You have me confused with Satan.
Is Anite in to S&M or is she a rapper? The gold chain around her neck is confusing the hell outta me! However, I am glad to see she is wearing Fall colors, even if they do clash with her hair and pancake makeup. Poor, old tired thing!
blah, blah, blah, church. blah, blah, blah, god. blah blah blah…
How many people has god told to be president now, and how many of them were disasters? This woman is loaded with cognitive dissonance; she needs a psychiatrist.
