UPDATE: Suspect in bar vandalizations believed to be banned former customer

The suspect in the case of the three Cedar Springs bars vandalized overnight is believed to be a former customer who was banned from multiple bars along the strip.
Police would not identify the suspect because the investigation into the damage to JR’s, The Mining Company and Woody’s is ongoing.
Many people in the community initially believed the incidents were connected to violent crimes in the neighborhood.
Christine Bengston with Caven Enterprises said it’s unfortunate they were targeted but grateful it is not related to the recent crimes along Cedar Springs.
