Lady B Smoove and Audacious will be embarking on their Southern Made Tour heading out to perform a series of spoken word events and book signings across Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Louisiana. They have jam-packed 11 dates into the next month traveling across six states including Texas. They kick off the tour right here on May 1 at the Backbeat Cafe which will also feature hip-hop band Dem Southernfolkz and local poets, Rye and Prudence the Isis.
“This is our first ever tour as an artist collective after our promo tour in October 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia,” Lady B Smoove says .
“As urban poets, this is our work and calling to encourage and uplift in the Southern part of the U.S. because it’s home for us. We appreciate the support of those who believe in what we do,” Audacious adds.
