Supporters of the trans community gathered in the Texas Capitol building to denounce bills that attack the transgender Texans and their families.
The Trangender Education Network of Texas tweeted, “We’re here under the dome today to make sure the Texas senate knows that healthcare for trans people is healthcare.”
The ACLU tweeted, “Texas politicians have launched yet another vicious attempt to deny trans Texans our right to survive and thrive. No matter our race, gender, or sexuality, we’ll keep fighting together for a Texas where all people are respected — no exceptions.”
