On Monday, the Dallas Arts District unveiled the 10 official locations for “RedBall Dallas” by artist Kurt Perschke, the internationally celebrated public artwork and performance that has appeared in more than 50 cities worldwide including Paris, Sydney, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, Barcelona, Toronto and Taipei. “RedBall Dallas” arrives for its Dallas and Texas premiere on June 19–28, adding an interactive public art experience during World Cup 26 and offer up some major selfie action and photo opps.

Presented as part of Dallas Arts District Fest, “RedBall Dallas” will move daily throughout Dallas for those 10 days. The experience is free and open to the public. This encourages folks to seek out the piece and explore the city at the same time. Win-win.

“Through the ‘RedBall’ I utilize my opportunity as an artist to be a catalyst for new encounters within the everyday,” Perschke said in today’s press release. “Through the magnetic, playful and charismatic nature of the ‘RedBall,’ the work is able to access the imagination embedded in all of us.”

Natch, the journey begins in the Dallas Arts District, the largest contiguous urban arts district in the United States.
