First they came for the illegal immigrant And I did not speak out Because I was not an illegal immigrant
Then they came for the Trans folx And I did not speak out Because I was not Trans
Then they came for the rainbow crosswalks And I did not speak out Because I did not use those rainbow crosswalks
Then they came for marriage equality And I did not speak out Because I was not married
Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me

If you are not engaged in resistance to the criminal enterprise masquerading as this presidential administration, then your inactivity may come back to haunt you. Please join us to stand up for our country we love so well. This is joyful and nonviolent resistance. The atmosphere will be loving and generous. The gathering will reflect what America is supposed to be: diverse and determined. This is a clear statement, “We love America!”

We’re organizing and taking action to defend each other and our communities. We demand dignity, and say “enough” to all of the president’s power grabs. 5 Million of us took to the streets in June, and we’re doing it again, BIGGER and BETTER!

Saturday, October 18, at Noon at Pacific Plaza
The day begins with a rally at noon at Pacific Plaza, 401 N Harwood St. Then we will march through the streets of downtown, and finish (back again) at Pacific Plaza, where we’ll be greeted with live music.

This is bigger than political disagreement. This administration has defied our courts, deported American citizens, disappeared people off the streets, and slashed our services—all while orchestrating a massive giveaway to their billionaire allies. Enough is enough! This is dictatorship in action. We do not accept it. America has no kings. This movement is for you.

Wear YELLOW. Cooperation and unity is our message.
Bring: 1. A Friend! 2. Water & a light snack. 3. Sun protection: hat, umbrella, and sunscreen. 4. Fully charged phone to capture photos and video of the event. 5. ID card & a little cash or one (1) credit card. 6. One-of-a-Kind Homemade Sign. We’ll have a limited number of NO KINGS signs to share — not enough to cover the vast number of energized folks attending. Please be mindful to properly dispose of your trash. Let’s leave Pacific Plaza better than we found it!
