Well, the girls… er, boys, are finally done. Uptown Players launched a bonus show, “The Facts of Life: The Lost Episode,” inside the Rose Room this year, and going in, everyone associated with it had the same concern: Will theater patrons attend a play in a drag club? The run was supposed to be for three weekends.
But numerous extensions later, it became not just a surprise hit, but the most financially successful show in Uptown Players’ history, according to co-founder Craig Lynch. He promises fans should look forward to another similar bonus show next season, which beginning in February with “Trials and Tribulations of the Trailer Park Housewife” by Del Shores.
