Stonewall Democrats of Dallas is demanding an apology from the Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa who blamed trans Texans for Democratic losses in this week’s election.

In a letter to Hinojosa, Stonewall Dallas President Susie Hess and her teams wrote, “Blaming members of the LGBTQ+ community — particularly trans Texans who already face disproportionate discrimination and hostility — is deeply irresponsible and counterproductive. The Texas Democratic Party should be a safe haven for all marginalized groups and should champion inclusion.

Kendall Scudder, a Texas Democratic Party officer, wrote, “This ain’t leadership and it’s damn sure not the lessons you should have learned from last night. Cowardly, unhelpful, hurtful to a lot of folks who were counting on you.”

Stonewall Democrats of Dallas is the largest Democratic Party membership organization in Texas.

  1. As the first transgender election day Judge in Dallas County (2004) and the first transgender early voting judge in the state of Texas (2010). The Dallas County Democratic Party (DCDP) has not been supportive. Threatened by a city of Dallas Parks Dept employee with a gun, it was ignored despite possession of a gun at a polling place being illegal. When I received hostile complaints because I had the audacity to ugh enforce the law and complian falsely claimed I discriminated Dallas County Democratic Party sided with the complatant, I needed to time it down. When Ilin 2020 early voting I received death threats via cyber-stalking based on a false claim I attacked a MAGA voter (dodging the MAGA Flag pole they swung at me). BTW, see him again Jan 6th and the FBI took it serious and he got 14 years for his Jan 6th activity.

Finshing with 11 years at the personal request of Commissioner Price i served as the election day Judge at the George Allen Courthouse and in 2020 at American Airlines MEGA-Vote Center.

It was the elections dept and Commissioner Price that had my back, when the DCDP and the Sheriff’s department didn’t. Accused of racism restricting open drink container around the new electronic poll book election equipment at the courthouse by an UN-ELECTED family court (associate) judge it was Commissioner Price that had my back.

I took retirement in 2021, and don’t miss it! Everyone should get on the list and experience working the polls, and thank the pollworkers because they put up with a lot of nasty.

  2. You would think the party of “unity” would be able to come together on certain issues. Apparently they cannot.

This time about 30 percent of the LGBT vote went to Trump which is likely the largest Republican volume in history. The community is beginning to figure this out and think for themselves.

  3. Well they aren’t wrong. The “trans community” has completely hi-jacked the gay rights movement. The majority of people don’t care if your gay, lesbian or even “trans”, but they also don’t want it shoved in their faces like the trans community is doing.
More often than not, these trans are just ugly drag queens with major mental issues.

    1. How exactly is the transgender community shoving it in your face? You mean like being MURDERED at ever increasing numbers. Setting new records of being victims of violence, even homicides.

Being stabbed, shot and burned till me aren’t recognizable. TDOR Transgender Day of Remembrance is just a few days away and again this year a new record number of murder victims comprise the list. It was the hard right that attacked us, it seems we are your punching bag.

  4. As a gay Republican, I hope the stonewalls continue to influence the democrat party. They will continue to lose.

Most common sense Americans are sick of the uber lefty ideas championed by the progressive Marxist left, as demonstrated last Tuesday night.
