Jane Lynch, the openly gay actress who has become a pop culture sensation as the villainous cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on the hit series “Glee,” has wed her longtime girlfriend, The Sun reports. Lynch, who has appeared in TV shows like “The L Word” and “Two and a Half Men,” and in films like “Best in Show,” hit a new level in her career on the series as the prickly head of the Cherrios, who seeks to sabotage the glee club every week. Despite her tribute video to Madonna, Sue is straight, but Lynch isn’t.
Lynch and her partner, Dr. Lara Embry, were married in Massachusetts, where same-sex unions are legal.
