At its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Stonewall Democrats of Dallas elected its new officers.

Omar Narvaez was elected to a third term as president.

Tracy Clinton, who served as political director, is the new vice president. During this year’s campaign, Clinton organized primary debates held at Sue Ellen’s for the Congressional District 33 candidates and for the County Commissioners Court District 1 candidates. He also was instrumental in organizing the candidate screenings. Clinton is married to Judge Tina Yoo and is the first ally elected vice president of the organization.

Mike McCue will continue as treasurer and Shannan Williamson was elected secretary. McCue begins his fifth term. Williamson is a longtime board member.

Narvaez thanked outgoing officers Phyllis Guest and Michael Wetter. Guest served two terms as secretary and Wetter served two terms as vice president.

The Stonewall Democrats holiday party takes place at the Round Up Saloon on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. The annual Lunch With an Elected Official will be auctioned. County Commissioner Elba Garcia is the official to be auctioned. The keynote speaker for the event is to be announced.

Awards will be presented at the annual party. The nominees are:
