America Ferrera turns 28 on Wednesday. The actress gained big time attention as the title character in Ugly Betty, a show that had major gay appeal. She was nominated in 2010 for favorite female star by the Gay People’s Choice awards and the Lesbian/Bi People’s Choice awards. Who knew? In 2011, she made her stage debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago in London.
