Frightful females — and the people who love them

First of all, let’s just say how much we love DOA Blood Bath Entertainment. They put the best spins on independent horror films. Last year the inaugural fest of Fears for Queers began to change the face of scary movies. They are back on  track for another year kicking off with the Second Annual Pretty Scary Film Fest which “celebrates the women who make independent horror films. All short and feature films in this festival are written and/or directed by women.”
The all-day fest features shorts and long films. The official selections include Barbee Butcher by Sophie Lagues and I Spit On Eli Roth by Devi Snively in the shorts category and Within by Hanelle Culpepper as one of two feature films presented.
