The Sisters in Action brought in $5,837 with their recent drag brunch tribute to Dolly Parton. Now they are gearing up for their next event, a Rocky Horror Picture Show-themed drag brunch on Oct. 18.
Aunt Marge hosted Dolly Forever: A Special Tribute on Sunday, Sept. 27 in The Rose Room inside S4. The show featured performances by DeManda Refund, Stormy Weather, Lisa Condo, Camille Young, Betty SiSonnet, Sniffany and Nippy Peakes, and the money raised through ticket sales, tips and donations benefits the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Alzheimer’s Association supports people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia and their caregivers, while funding research toward prevention, treatment and a cure.
The Dolly-themed September brunch brings the Sisters in Action’s overall total since their formation in November 2017 to just under $400,000 for local charities

The Sisters in Action Charity Drag Brunch returns Sunday, Oct. 18, with a Rocky Horror Picture Show-themed drag brunch hosted by Betty SiSonnet in The Rose Room to benefit Uptown Players.
