Are you going to Scarborough Fair?

This weekend, I went hither to Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie. Verily, a good time was had by all as we did shoppeth, witnesseth a show of magic, a sword fight and court dancers.

Methinks amongst the crowd of festival goers and performers were a bevy of ye olde friends of Dorothy and daughters of Lesbos. Huzzah.

Scarborough Renaissance Festival runneth through 26 of May on Saturdays, Sundays and the Day of Memorial. 10 a.m.–7 p.m. $24 at the fair. $22 online. Ye olde Card of the Master, Visa and Stratford-upon-Avon Express accepted.

Directions: From Dallas, taketh thy carriage on I-35E until ye arriveth at the Maypearl exit 399A. Turneth right and go a mile and a half. Yonder lieth the fair on the left. From Fort Worth, taketh Highway 287 south to I-35E.
