Hewitt & Habgood Realty Group with Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate, one of Dallas’ highest-producing Realtor teams, this week announced that Jason Saucedo has been promoted to junior partner. Managing Partners Steve Habgood and Kathy Hewitt said that Saucedo has been an associate with Hewitt & Habgood since 2016 and now, as junior partner, will take on more leadership responsibilities with marketing and management of the team as well as serving his clients.
As a fourth-generation Dallasite, the managing partners said, Saucedo has “deep ties to the community and understands the nuances of the many urban neighborhoods that make of the fabric” of the city. He is a graduate of Jesuit High School and has a bachelor of arts degree in business leadership from the University of Dallas, with a focus on marketing.
Last year, Saucedo closed 30 transactions, and he made time to volunteer with a variety of North Texas organizations, including the Jesuit Alumni Association, Meals on Wheels, Adopt-A-Family, Ronald McDonald House and Blonds vs. Brunettes Dallas, an organization raising money for Alzheimer’s research in the DFW area.
Saucedo has been recognized by D Magazine as a Best Realtor in Dallas for the last three years and received the Five Star Professional Rising Star Award in 2017.
Saucedo said he finds “great joy” in helping people and is “thrilled to have joined Hewitt & Habgood Realty Group where I can help people for a living [and] have the flexibility to be involved in the community that has given me so much.”
Kathy Hewitt and Steve Habgood founded Hewitt & Habgood Realty Group in 1999. The team currently has six members, with four Realtors, including Saucedo and associate Lance Hancock.
