“Roseanne” star Sara Gilbert is a married woman. The actress wed rocker Linda Perry on Sunday, People magazine reported.
After coming out in 2010, Gilbert started dating Perry in 2011. Perry, 48, asked Gilbert, 39, for her hand in marriage last April, and Gilbert shared the engagement news on her show “The Talk” last year. She said the pair was having a romantic picnic in a Los Angeles park when a street musician with a guitar began playing “Love Song.” Perry then pulled out a series of T-shirts, each with the words “Will” “You” “Marry” “Me” and a question mark.
On Monday’s episode of “The Talk,” co-hosts Aisha Tyler and Julie Chen told the audience about the big wedding.
“It was at sunset and overlooking the ocean,” Tyler said.
“She is off on her honeymoon and returns on [next] Monday,” Chen added.
Gilbert was previously in a 10-year relationship with TV producer Alison Adler, with whom she shares custody of son Levi, 9, and daughter Sawyer, 6.
